I'd love to get the gold version of that coin. Yeah, I could do without King Chuck, but oh well. I guess one thing we can say about the commonwealth coins, is at least having the monarch there helps us very quickly see which era the coin is from.

I also love chess. I play with my kids when I can, but both of them are more into Go and Shogi (Japanese chess). I'm so-so with Go, but I still have yet to learn Shogi very well.

I would love it too minus the king... Good to hear you are a chess fan, and I have heard of both Go and Shogi but no idea how they're played. Funny how one game created 1400 years ago has created so many popular variants still played until today.

I think it's great you play those strategy games with your kids, they really do help children learn strategy which translates to real life. Learning to think strategically is an invaluable skill in this world.
