In this article I talked about the Swedish chemist Svante Arrhenius who was the first to link CO₂ emissions (from burning fossil fuels) to global warming. Maybe we know other more popular scientists, but he also gave a great contribution to humanity. By the way, Arrhenius also received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
