I always understand the writings but find myself lost in the formulas
Is there a way I can get more familiar with formulas and don’t see them as a problem?

The formulas shouldn't be a problem; even if you don't understand them, it's still the same. First of all, in my opinion, it's enough to understand the texts and remember that what we're talking about exists.
In this article, I tried to talk about first-order sensors. Simply put, a first-order sensor behaves like a dynamic system with a single energy storage element, described by a first-order differential equation. Since it's described by a first-order differential equation, these sensors are called first-order sensors.
Below is the differential equation for a first-order sensor.
