Thank you for this question, but this is really a difficult question. Scientific studies only began between the 17th and 18th centuries. If we go back in time, however, electricity had already been discovered in some way. In the past, around 600 BC, Thales of Miletus observed that rubbing amber with a cloth attracted small light objects. I believe this is the first documented reference to electrical phenomena and that specifically concerned static electricity. I take this opportunity to remind you that the word “electron” comes from the ancient Greek ἤλεκτρον (ēlektron), which means amber. !WEIRD
