It was just a brief wait for our car outside the entrance of Atlantis The Palm. That little time gifted me something unexpectedly awesome. While my husband and I stood there, I took a bit to really look around. What I saw deserved more than just a passing peek. The palms stood tall and proud. Their leaves swish in the gentle air. Creating a peaceful sound that blends perfectly with the flowing water from the pond. The way the landscaping was plotted spoke volumes about the resort’s attention to detail. Luxury was not only found inside the hotel but also knit orderly into its outdoor areas. The arrangement of greenery, the way the palms mounted the entrance and the placid presence of the pond gave off a vibe that was both comforting and stylish. I couldn’t resist but took out my camera to click a few photos. Not just because it was wonderful, but because this was the kind of attraction that was frequently ignored. We’re usually so interested on what’s next, rushing to check in or get to the next stop. We miss these small, grounding moments. I’m happy I slowed down. Atlantis The Palm may be known for its elegance, but it was in this silent corner, just outside, where I found a little moment of peace.
