Hello there! It's good to have you come around this post. I'm glad to be making this post today, and sharing my entry for the contest. It's always fascinating to participate in photography contests like this.
Yellow, a wonderful primary colour is associated with happiness, positivity, and joy, with its most expressions often tied to the sun and the summer. Yellow brings feelings of energy and warmth. In the work of design and art, its use is utilised in this sense to communicate to and capture the intended users. It can also be associated with jealousy and caution.

My first object or item to portray the beauty of this colour was this bus. It was a school bus, parked in a mechanic workshop I suppose, which means it was under some kind of fixing. It belonged to one of the known schools in that area. How many seater could it be? That I'm not sure but it seemed to be handy in serving their needs, till maybe they get a bigger one.

After some walk away from there, with the weather already looking cloudy and in preparation for some rainfall, the second sight that reflected this colour was these two kegs or jerrycans or gallons. It has gone by these names in my part of the world that I can't tell which actually.

Water, they say is life. At the location was a group of people trying to draw out water from a source. Water is so important, and thankfully there are containers like this to collect this precious resource.

Hoped to capture more sights of the colour yellow, which eventually didn't work out, these proved handful in the end. Yellow is a wonderful primary colour, a great expression of different feelings and appealing for many purposes.
