Loved this post @melenda010100, talk about bringing back memories. My entire family watched this movie every year, I believe it was around Thanksgiving. Those ruby slippers were amazing to me when I was a little girl. Those sculptures were really detailed, nice camera work.

It was always on over Thanksgiving weekend. Our neighbors bought a new color TV and I convinced my parents to let me accept their invitation to come over and watch it in color. Thinking back on it now I wonder if my parents watched it that year or if they felt they didn't have to with no kids in the house!
That's what I thought, Thanksgiving weekend. I love that movie and so does my daughter.
As a little kid, she and her friends would watch it over and over again especially in the summers at the farm. Great memories.
