Changes are coming...
This morning I spent a little time analyzing the hive situation of our project.
And I'm still coming to the same conclusion.
Helping the #FR tag isn't much use, as most of them are playing the lone rider. And when I created the first French-language curation service (cercle), some even tried to pump the idea and compete rather than help, notably with zonguin and his aide-fr or later with laruche.
So I say to myself that maybe it's time to work for the common project and our community rather than for a language tag that apparently doesn't give a damn about what we're doing.
Why I've come to this conclusion:
- French-speaking witnesses have been ignoring us since “Day 1”.
- French speakers are so disdainful of our efforts that they never vote for what we do or even follow the trail and enjoy our manual efforts while sharing their HP with the rest of the community.
- Extremely low readership
- Participation rate when there are questions, for example, virtually nil.
- Little presence on the discord or on the live stream
- Participation on NFT or even ECU is just non-existent at the moment.
Please don't take this personally if you're one of the few who actively participate.
However, we've been supporting #FR since 2018.
So I'm thinking very seriously about switching the curation to :
- the tag BASTION for supporters of our projects, and the number of words would be less important, but more oriented participation in the community.
- and also better voting for those I follow.
So I'm asking (yes, again) for your opinion on this question, and I'm also asking you to tell me if you write actively on hive, so that I can check whether I have you as a follower or not.
I'll try to create some little tools to see :
- who votes in trailing
- who interacts with posts and the community
- ...
To create a group effect, to be part of the project.
In the hope that those who are active will be better rewarded and that the Principality's project will be better reflected.
Effective change
There is already one effective change, and that is that @hive-143869 , the tavern, now only displays posts from its members. Its members are those who actively "support" our project.
Contact me if you'd like to be part of it, I'm asking for participation via the acquisition of a simple citizenship card (or more if affinities), some exceptions might exist, in those cases I'll send the card at my expense. So if money is a concern, talk to me.
But I feel deep down that I must follow Stephen Hawking's advice that I noted in the weekly curation post, for those who follow 😜

Des changements à l'horizon
Ce matin j'ai passé un peu de temps à analyser la situation sur hive de notre projet.
Et j'en arrive toujours à la même conclusion.
Aider le tag #FR ne sert pas à grand chose, la plupart jouant cavalier solitaire. Et quand j'avais créé le premier service de curation francophone (cercle) il yen a même eu pour tenter de pomper l'idée et de faire concurrence plutôt que d'aider, notamment avec zonguin et son aide-fr ou encore laruche.
Alors je me dis qu'il est peut-être temps de travailler pour le projet commun et notre communauté plutôt que pour un tag de langue qui, apparemment, se moque royalement de ce que nous faisons.
Pourquoi j'en arrive à cette conclusion :
- les witness francophones nous ignorent depuis "Day 1"
- les francophones boudent nos efforts au point de na jamais voter pour ce que nous faisons ou même suivre le trail et profiter de nos efforts manuels tout en partageant leurs HP avec le reste de la communauté.
- Taux de lecture extrêmement faible
- Taux de participation quand il y a des questions, par exemple, quasiment nul
- Peu de présence sur le discord ou sur le live
- Participation sur les NFT ou même l'ECU est juste inexistant actuellement.
Surtout ne le prenez pas pour vous, si vous êtes l'un des rares à participer activement
Or, nous supportons le #FR depuis 2018.
Alors je réfléchis très sérieusement à basculer la curation vers :
- le tag BASTION pour les supporters de nos projets, et le nombre de mots serait moins importants, mais plus orientés participation à la communauté.
- et également mieux voter ceux que je follow.
Du coup, je demande (oui encore) votre avis sur cette question, et je vous demande aussi de me dire si vous écrivez de façon active sur hive, pour que je vérifier si je vous ai en follow ou non.
J'essaierai de créer des petits outils pour voir :
- qui vote en trailing
- qui interagit avec les posts et la communauté
- ...
Afin de créer un effet de corps, de faire partie du projet.
En espérant que ceux qui sont actifs s'en voient mieux récompensés et faire en sorte que le projet de la Principauté soit mieux répercuté.
Changement effectif
Il ya déjà un changement effectif, c'est que @hive-143869 , la taverne, n'affiche plus que les posts de ses membres. Ses membres sont ceux qui "supportent" notre projet activement.
Contactez-moi si vous voulez en faire partie, je demande une participation via l'acquisition d'une simple carte de citoyenneté (ou plus si affinités), certaines exceptions pourraient exister, dans ces cas là, j'enverrai à mes frais la carte. Donc si l'argent est un soucis, parlez-m'en.
Mais je sens au plus profond de moi que je dois suivre le conseil de Stephen Hawking que j'ai noté dans le post de curation hebdomadaire, pour ceux qui suivent 😜
