A cool job !!!???
I love animals, I'm not afraid of cameras, I'm creative and I've lost most of my shyness over the years of streaming.
So when my wife told me about the position of youtuber at Pairi Daiza, I have to admit that I started to dream.
To apply, I had to make a video, and I only got round to it on Saturday, because I needed time to come up with a few ideas, and to put a script in my head that wasn't too bad, while at the same time playing the improv card.
I filmed the whole thing as if I were in one of the park's hotel rooms, and I was introduced by a red panda (Facerig) who said the words I wanted (voicemod), just to show that I could play with inlays and a bit of background work on a video.
I'll show the video, which I've put up on youtube unlisted, to anyone who asks for it, as it contains private data. I've also put it there to show “forem” that I'm not just pretending to be looking, that I'm putting my energy and hopes into it too.
You'll have to ask for it by PM on discord.
And if you'd like to see this video because of possible job opportunities, we can also discuss it. Remember that I'm almost perfectly trilingual: French, Dutch, English.
But you have to admit that it would be great if I could work not too far from home, in what I would describe as a majestic environment, close to the animals, while mixing in the technologies that I love. A wonderful end to a career, wouldn't you say?

Un job cool ?
J'adore les animaux, je n'ai pas peur des caméras, je suis créatif et j'ai perdu presque toute ma timidité au fil de ces années à faire du streaming.
Alors quand mon épouse m'a parlé du poste de youtubeur chez Pairi Daiza,j'avoue que j'ai commencé à rêver.
Pour postuler il fallait faire une vidéo, je m'y suis attelé seulement samedi, car j'ai eu besoin de temps pour scénariser quelques idées, de me mettre un texte pas trop dégueux dans la tête tout en jouant la carte de l'impro. Avant d'y adjoindre mon CV et la lettre de motivation...
J'ai filmé le tout comme si j'étais dans une des chambres d'hotel du parc, et je me suis fait présenter par un panda roux (Facerig) qui a dit les mots que je souhaitais (voicemod), histoire de montrer que je pouvais jouer avec des incrustations et un peu de travail de fond sur une vidéo.
Je montrerai la vidéo, que j'ai monté sur youtube en non répertoriée, à ceux qui en feront la demande, car il y a des données privées dessus. Je l'y ai mise également pour montrer au "forem" que je ne fais pas semblant de chercher, que j'y mets mon énergie et mes espoirs aussi.
Faudra venir la demander en MP sur discord.
Et si vous désirez voir cette vidéo pour des raisons d'engagements possibles, on peut aussi en discuter, je rappelle que je suis presque parfait trilingue : Français, Néerlandais, Anglais.
Mais avouez que cela serait du tonnerre que je puisse travailler pas trop loin de chez moi, dans un environnement que je qualifierais de majestueux, proche des animaux, tout en y mêlant les technologies que j'aime. Une magnifique fin de carrière, n'est-ce pas ?
Alors n'hésites pas à croiser tout ce que vous pouvez, de m'envoyer des bonnes ondes ou toute autre action qui selon vous pourrait me porter chance dans cette quête ...
