THE VANITY OF LIFE

in The Kingdom2 days ago

What kind of world are we living in today that, even in death nothing good can be talked about most persons, names are still rubbed in the mud.

We forget to understand that life is vanity, at the end of the day we all will give account of what we did at the end.

Yes, we don't have the right to judge as the Bible made us to understand in (Mathew 7:1) That we should not judge others, so that we too will not be judged.

Why am I saying this today? On the 13th of July 2025, just yesterday, it was announced nationwide here in Nigeria that our one time president( president of the federal Republic of Nigeria is dead)

Oh what a thing to be sad about, no matter his belief, I think everyone needs empathy and also sympathize with his family as humans, because that is the right thing to do.

Today, the full country is angry at him even after his death, because of his wrong doings we think and know he did to the people of the country.

The Bible made us to understand in (proverbs 29:2) that when the righteous rules the people rejoice, but when the wicked is in authority the people becomes sad.

Today, he is no more, his legacy will be spoken ill of even years to come, why don't we live a life that is right before God, for a good name is better than great riches and loving favour rather than silver and gold . Yes he acquired all the wealth but where is he today? ( all is vanity)

We as believers, let's learn to follow the footsteps of Jesus, even with the little time he had here on earth, he carried out the goodnews, did miraculous signs and wonders, feed the poor and healed the sick.

As believers, let's not forget that there is life everlasting after death, what you want others to do to you, do it unto them ( Matthew7:12). No matter how wealthy you are today, there will come a time when we will meet our creator, so let's live a life that is pleasing to God and also live peacefully with all men just as the Bible Said in his word (Roman's 12:18)
