Brilliant stuff! As soon as I started reading, I was thinking Exodus 34.

I think what it all comes down to is His character. Which has been the debate of ages it seems. Adam and Eve didn't trust His character and His word, and decided to test out the other side of the coin. And humanity seems to have had a deep history of trying to do things their own way. Making God fit into their own box.

I truly believe, this is what will come down in these latter days. What is God's character? How is He as a Creator and deity? The verses you shared, showed that very well!

        I think we all come down to Adam and Eve as well; we all test God because we don't fully trust Him. We can only judge God according to our capabilities and what we can observe, so an omnipresent, all-powerful being seems impossible. Or, even worse, that someone else think THEY can dictate what WE do?! 😤
