Just awful. I grieve for the family and I could not imagine the horror of losing a child so young. And I guess people grieve in their own way. They look for maybe, their traditions, on how to grieve.

I can only go by what the bible says, as you have laid out. Grieving and praying to anyone that is dead, is not biblical. It's a Roman Catholic practice rooted in paganism.

And sadly, i think many in that faith, feel that they can make 'saints' out of their friends and family that have passed away. Which just isn't biblical. But alas, that church has always held the traditions of men higher than what Scripture actually reads.

Just an awful situation. Urgh.

I never would have thought that grief could manifest such evil as well! 🙇‍♀️🙏 I pray for this family, and that they may receive closure in a different way, but more importantly to stop in case they're leading others astray.

I think it can be said, without a doubt, that their son made it into Heaven. Only being 5, his sins were probably very "miniscule," enough so that God can forgive them. That, in and of itself, should be celebrated!

But if the family is committing idoltary and didn't make it? I'm sure God could make exceptions if they truly didn't know they were committing idoltary... But I know that God calls us to correct our brother; if we don't, their blood is on our hands...

Thank you for your comment, I hope you have a great week! 🙏💛

Yeah, I think God wants all those kids with Him. The innocence of that age.
