I see a lot of people been envious of wealthy individuals who are doing so well in their business or one thing or another and they do earnestly wish to be like them, craving for the better and easy life that comes with no stress, the truth is the Days of manner is over and it's time to work..
I wish i can say it the way I understand this that we see rich people, those who are living well having all that they desire, doing well that is just a side to them, probably social media has made us believe a lot of these, these people will only put up what you want to see, what they expect you to see, but you will never see these guys put up Days of hard work, frustration, disappointed, failures, rejection and all of that.... So your brain now interprets it to mean that they are just lucky or blessed.
Truth is when you see these things also know that great deal of hard purposeful working was done to get them were they are now were it's all easy cause certain strategy was put in place.
Take for instance going to buy a car, it's not the big deal, but can you afford the cost to maintain that car?.. cause it will require money, so you don't just buy a car but also you must have the necessary means to sustain that car, you will likely need twice the cost of buying for maintainance, fuelling , servicing insurance, repairs etc...
What that means in life is if you desire to succeed to reach the top of your career don't just desire it or admire others be ready to face the heavy task and assignment, sleepless nights, putting in work, energy know that you will fail so you already make up for mind for that, know and accept the fact that you will be rejected, neglected, disappointed, frustrated, try to inculcate all of this negatives into your mind be ready for them, don't only fantasize the good and very pleasant life alone, understand that with it comes heavy requirements.
There are odds, many opposition will rise up against you on your way up to the top, but you have to keep pressing on..
I feel one of the things that Gave Jesus Christ an Edge was he already knew his purpose and what will befall him trying to carryout God's plan to fulfilling his assignment, and after he was done he gave us the same assurance that he has conquer the world and so we have the same mindset to conquer, even tho we will face tribulations but then the victory is assured so you go into that business or that job knowing what you will likely face this will give you an edge over whatever is about to come... You are prepared, born ready to overcome any odds that will likely come up.
