Thank God is another weekend and is saturday. Its been quite an amazing weekend. My gratitude goes to God Almighty the giver of life and everything that i have. I had the previlege to share the word of God with in my local assembly during their 2024 children prayer retreat on the subject Jesus our perfect example.
I would like to share a scripture from the book of luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
Wow!!! This scripture is always fresh and new when ever i stumbled on it. There are lots of lessons to be deduced from this passage. I would like to point out three things that every believer must possess as we advance in our christian journey. You could also title it as the three dimension of christian growth. If you want to ascertain the level of your walk with God hmmm never neglect these three things i am about to share.
- Jesus increased in wisdom. The first level of christian growth is on the shores of wisdom. I must grow in wisdom. This is the application of knowledge to solve a problem or proffer solution to a need. Jesus was not stunted but had high level of development in handling issues such that even highly esteem men came to hear him. In all thy getting, get wisdom because its a principal thing.
- The next dimension of growth required is the stature. This entails both physical and mental development. There is need to eat good food and grow very well.
- Jesus had favour before God and men. You don't need to work for everything by yourself there is a place of favour. Favour is having what you don't deserved.
I pray that God will help us to walk in these dimension of our relationship with God.
