At first, I thought it was a bumblebee because of its size and appearance, but later I realized that it was actually a flower fly. What fascinated me the most was how closely it resembled a real bee. It has evolved in a way that helps it look almost exactly like one so that predators stay away from it. If someone does not know much about insects or bees, it can easily fool them into thinking it is a real bee, and honestly, it fooled me too at first glance.
शुरुआत में मुझे लगा कि यह एक भौंरा है क्योंकि इसका आकार और दिखावट बिल्कुल वैसी ही लग रही थी, लेकिन बाद में पता चला कि यह असल में एक फ्लावर फ्लाई थी। मुझे सबसे ज़्यादा हैरानी इस बात की हुई कि यह बिल्कुल असली मधुमक्खी जैसी दिख रही थी। इसने खुद को इस तरह विकसित किया है कि यह मधुमक्खी जैसी दिखाई दे, ताकि शिकारी इससे दूर रहें। अगर किसी को कीड़ों या मधुमक्खियों के बारे में ज़्यादा जानकारी न हो, तो वह आसानी से इसे असली मधुमक्खी समझ सकता है, और सच कहूं तो पहली नज़र में मैं भी धोखा खा गया था।
When I looked more carefully, I started noticing small differences that made me realize it was something else. It was quite interesting to observe it closely. I spent a few minutes watching it as it calmly sat on a flower, moving slowly while collecting nectar or pollen. It did not seem disturbed by my presence, which gave me enough time to capture several photographs.
जब मैंने इसे थोड़ा ध्यान से देखा, तो मुझे कुछ छोटे-छोटे फर्क दिखाई देने लगे, जिनसे समझ आया कि यह कुछ और ही है। इसे करीब से देखना काफी दिलचस्प था। मैं कुछ मिनट तक इसे देखता रहा, जब यह आराम से एक फूल पर बैठा हुआ धीरे-धीरे रस और पराग इकट्ठा कर रहा था। मेरी मौजूदगी से यह बिल्कुल भी परेशान नहीं लग रहा था, जिसकी वजह से मुझे इसकी कई तस्वीरें लेने का अच्छा मौका मिल गया।
I tried taking pictures from different angles because its patterns and details looked beautiful in every direction. The sunlight falling on its body made the tiny textures and colors stand out even more. After staying on one flower for a while and quietly doing its work, it suddenly flew away to another flower nearby. I followed it and managed to take a few more pictures there as well.
मैंने इसकी अलग-अलग एंगल से तस्वीरें लेने की कोशिश की क्योंकि हर दिशा से इसके पैटर्न और बारीकियां बहुत सुंदर लग रही थीं। इसके शरीर पर पड़ रही धूप छोटे-छोटे टेक्सचर और रंगों को और भी उभरकर दिखा रही थी। कुछ देर तक एक फूल पर शांत होकर अपना काम करने के बाद यह अचानक पास के दूसरे फूल पर उड़ गया। मैं भी उसके पीछे गया और वहां भी उसकी कुछ और तस्वीरें लेने में सफल रहा।
Watching it move gently around the flower while trying to capture clear shots made the whole experience feel much more engaging and enjoyable, although most of the time it stayed on the same flower quietly doing its work before eventually flying to another one nearby.
फूल पर उसकी हल्की-हल्की हरकतों को देखते हुए उसकी साफ तस्वीरें लेने की कोशिश करना पूरे अनुभव को और भी दिलचस्प और मज़ेदार बना रहा था। ज़्यादातर समय वह उसी एक फूल पर शांत होकर रस और पराग इकट्ठा करता रहा, जिससे मुझे उसे ध्यान से देखने और अलग-अलग एंगल से तस्वीरें लेने का अच्छा मौका मिला। कुछ देर बाद वह धीरे से उड़कर पास के दूसरे फूल पर चला गया, जहां मैंने उसकी कुछ और तस्वीरें लीं।
