Since a few years ago, the most popular means of transportation in Venezuela are motorcycles, because of their affordable price when compared to a car, their sale has increased significantly and this is visible as soon as you go out on the street.
It is also evident that many motorcyclists drive crazy, they don’t respect the traffic rules and that is why accidents have increased. As a pedestrian I am always on the lookout for iron horses and I look in both directions when crossing the streets because they can come from either side.
I captured these images during a rainy morning, I had no intention of photographing motorcycles, but I saw so many that day, that when I stopped at times in roofed places waiting for the rain to stop, I thought it was an interesting topic, sure I will make more posts about this in the future, what do you think?
Desde hace unos años, el medio de transporte más popular en Venezuela son las motos, por su precio accesible en comparación con un automóvil, su venta ha aumentado significativamente y esto es visible apenas sales a la calle.
También es evidente que muchos motorizados manejan a lo loco, no respetan las normas de tránsito y por eso los accidentes han aumentado. Como peatón siempre estoy pendiente de los caballos de hierro y miro en ambas direcciones al cruzar las calles porque pueden venir de cualquier lado.
Estas imágenes las capturé durante una mañana lluviosa, no tenía intención de fotografiar motos, pero vi tantas ese día, que al detenerme por momentos en lugares techados esperando que la lluvia parara, pensé que era un tema interesante, seguro haré más publicaciones sobre esto en el futuro, ¿ustedes qué opinan?
