A few months ago I made a trip to the easternmost part of Cuba by train, which was not easy because it took 20 hours, but at least I was able to enjoy the wonderful views. As I knew that on the way I would pass through some very remote communities in the mountains, I dedicated myself to photographing those small villages and their people. Very humble, but with a huge and kind heart. I took all the pictures from the moving train, which was going slow, which made the process more complex. Hace algunos meses hice un viaje a la zona más oriental de Cuba en tren, algo nada sencillo porque fueron 20 horas, pero al menos pude disfrutar de las maravillosas vistas. Como sabía que en el trayecto pasaría por algunas comunidades muy apartadas en las montañas, me dediqué a fotografiar aquellos pequeños pueblos y sus gentes. Muy humildes, pero con un corazón enorme y bondadoso. Hice todas las fotos desde el tren en movimiento, que iba lento, lo cual complejizaba más el proceso.
