Monomad: Metal Horse Sculpture

This horse sculpture is constructed from random bits of scrap metal, some of them shaped to match the horse body parts. It is a permanent fixture outside a popular bar along downtown Calgary's Stephen Avenue. I like how there is a mechanical element to this, with the rear legs looking like they might be able to move. It's a statue that suits the cowboy and Stampede theme of the city and is well placed where I am sure hundreds of thousands of people have passed by this horse over the years.

That metal horse looks beautiful🤩. In a park in the city of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, there are several metal sculptures imitating animals, but they are already a little deteriorated.
