I always appreciate the bees, they do some of the most important work in helping our entire ecosystem continue to function as it does. Watching them for so many years and not once have I felt like one was going to sting me. I think that comes from respecting their space and observing their work. I let the bees do their thing and come to me rather than try to spend much time chasing them. If I see them hovering around a certain spot I know that if I keep my camera pointed in that area they will likely land just long enough for me to get a few close ups.
