Last weekend, I had the opportunity and honor of working as a photographer at a Quinceañera party (15th birthday). The girl's parents hired my services to document the entire party, and although I literally took more than 800 photographs that day, in this post, I am going to share my selection of the best ones!
This was the first photography I took of the Quinceañera's entrance, accompanied by her Chambelanes (escorts):
El fin de semana pasado tuve la oportunidad y el honor de trabajar como fotografo en una fiesta de 15 años, los padres de la chica contrataron mis servicios para documentar toda la fiesta y aunque tomé literalmente mas de 800 fotos ese dia, en esta publicación les voy a compartir mi selección de las mejores fotografías!
Esta fue la primera foto que tomé de la entrada de la quinceñera acompañada de sus chambelanes:
The girl made her entrance, and her father was waiting to change her shoes for high heels, symbolizing the girl's transition to adulthood:
La niña hizo su entrada y su papá la estaba esperando para cambiarle sus zapatos por las zapatillas, simbolizando la transición de la niña hacia la adultez:
Then it was time for the Waltz. I took photographs of her with all the guests, but I am only showing you a couple:
Luego fue el momento de vals, le tomé fotos con todos los invitados, pero solo les muestro un par:
And then the moment for the toast arrived!
Y luego llegó el momento del brindis!
After the toast, everyone approached to congratulate the birthday girl, and I took photographs with most of them:
Despues del brindis todas las personas se acercaron a felicitar a la cumpleañera y le tomé fotos con la mayoria de ellos:
And at this point, we started taking the portrait photographs of the night's protagonist!
Y en este punto empezamos a hacer las fotografias de retrato de la protagonista de la noche!
The party had a Harry Potter theme, so the girl used several elements for her photographs:
La fiesta estaba ambientada con la tematica de harry potter asi que la niña usó varios elementos para sus fotos:
She even took a photography with the Sorting Hat:
Ella hasta se hizo una foto con el sombrero seleccionador:
Then the girl took off the underskirt/bustle of her dress, and I took even more photographs of her:
Luego la chica se quitó el levantador del vestido y le hice aun mas fotos:
And to finalize, I took a photography of her next to the cake:
Y para finalizar le hice una foto junto a la torta:
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm f/2.8 lens, and a flash with a 50cm diffuser.
At the end of the day, we were all super happy with the photographs obtained. I hope you like them as much as we did!!
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8, un lente 50mm a 2.8/f y un flash con difusor de 50cm.
