while we were out walking in the evening in the area of Fossanmoen where we were spending the night we came to Forsand school. school was closed but the grounds were open and looked interesting so we went in and had a look

the design of both the playground and the buildings was impressive especially with the mountains behind clothed in their finest spring attire
i have no idea how the teaching is but the school itself and the grounds made me think it must be a good place to spend so much of one's youth
the evening light seemed just right for black and white photography
here we had come around to the front of the main school building
at this angle with the reflection in the windows the main entrance (hovudinngang) seemed more like a port through to the mountain behind
when school is closed the skeletons come out of the closest to put on their lab frocks and get to work
these ventilation pipes glistened in the evening sun
another similar shot that i included because i like how the angle of the roof matches the slope of the mountain in the background
such a cool bicycle rack.
regardless of how much students learn about design in the curriculum exposure to good design at a young age surely encourages creativity and the desire to promote aesthetic surroundings
