This is my entry for the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes
This bug was sitting nicely on a bush when I found it. It was a nice finding, as I thought that I will be coming home empty-handed again. But I was lucky to check out that particular bush and then find this bug resting nicely.
I love the color and also the pattern of this beetle, but this time I go for the black and white version to show the beauty of this beetle without the color. But I can safely say that this little guy is still beautiful in black and white version isn't it?
At first, it was resting on the top of the branch of that bush as you can see in the photo below, maybe it was trying to munch on the new leaf shoot of the bush.
But then, as I tried to get the photos, it started to move from the tip of the branch, and started to grow down to the bigger leaf of the plant.
Here it was already on the way to go down, maybe it saw me as a soft threat, as it decided to only retreat a little bit instead of flying away from me.
You can try to go away, but please be good you lovely beetle,a dn let me some more time to get a lovely photograph of you to share with my fellow hiveans. :)
