Snow in countryside - Black&White

This is my entry for #monomad challenge by @monochromes.

I'll show here some pics of some days ago (here colorful images).

I prefer black and white with this kind of cloudy sky. The scene is more dramatic, and it seems to be back on ancient age...

When I see this sunrays, I'm pretty sure the photographic journey will be good!

In the distance, the top of Semese castle appeared:

Around, bare trees, only footprints of animals and men... And some holes in the snow, caused by leaf. Leaves heat up more in the sun than the snow around, and they start to melt the snow, creating holes in the field.

Time to stop, time to lose old thoughts...

... and start to follow new ideas:

For sure my favorite type of photography! I simply love to capture directly in B&W mode, it makes me wonder more and capture with more enthusiasm compared with colored!

The brilliance of the sky, the vegetation and the snow-layered ground all contrast beautifully to create a photogenic scene. I think you captured them all quite well and what a pleasure is it to view them. Thanks for sharing and happy new year.
