I felt worried that day because some of the firewood I got is very wet due to the past rainy days, I kept myself searching lots of it while my Husband carried in one place so it will be easily put in one sack before carried home.
Good thing I have some dry coconut palm, it will ready to used and I gathered and put in the concrete wall last day so it will dry very fast. But I was wondered because some of it are already missing and few are already misplaced. My Husband told me that we must cut those palm trees and put all of it in the sacks because it might be missing again until it will completely gone. My Daughter was also very happy and enjoyed playing mahogany fruit. It was almost 7 in the morning when we still there and having a busy day gathering lots of firewood. The clouds was keeping turned into gray indicates that it will rain in no time. We kept ourselves in a hurry so we can avoided the rain.
My Husband also brought this dry big tree branches and it is ready to use. But Sharp thing like Axe is very needed in this kind of dry branches so it will cut into smaller pieces. We decided put this inside of the waitingshed so it wont get wet by rain. He brought this thing slightly quite distance from our place. We carefully collected those firewood that is very easy to burned and produced lots of charcoals like dry branches of Molave, mahogany, ipil, madre de cacao and germilina trees.
I also checked our fruit trees at the yard and I found this big jack fruit we have here. This is perfect to wrapped it with recycled empty sack and it is lucky that the fruit was not contains any damage due to harmful insects like wasps. I felt very happy because atlast, this tree was finally produced fruits for the first time and it will be very excited to harvest in right time. As we finally finished collecting firewood and exploring our small lot, I've seen almost ten jackfruits and our hardworks and dedications already gained a succes.
Young coconut sprouts are also at the place ready to plant, but we don't have still time to do the job. We kept gathering coconut sprouts so we can plant lots of it here at small lot. We have schedule to follow just like planting it during low tide. Thats what Grandma told me that it is good to plant every lowtide.
After that, we finally got home bringing those dry firewood put in the sack. After that, I prepared and cooked the food for our breakfast specially this eggplants my Husband brought last day. I decided to fried it combining this oyster sauce. Fried eggplant is one of my favorite to eat and my Husband and Daughter also love to eat fried eggplant. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
