This is the kind of bamboo we want to use as a fence and we called it Balatakan. This kind of bamboo is perfect as a fence and aside of that a fence post or floors purposes. It is surrounded or contains lots of thorns that is why it is very difficult to cut those bamboos. First, they cleared those thorns and used a ladder so they can easily climbed up. They carefully cut those bamboo branches and removing those thorns and after that they also cut those wild plants so the place will be cleaned and away from dangerous wild animals like snakes. Cutting lots of bamboos really needs time and doing the best to cut without any accidents.
The place are now cleaned and cut those wild plants and grass. After that, they started to find some easy ways to get up at the bamboo tree. Each piece of bamboo cutted takes a few minutes and they slowly lead those bamboo at the open place. They do team work so the job will finish on time. The ground is filled with lots of dry leaves that is why it needs to step up very carefully to avoid any holes at the ground.
Last day, they already cut some bamboos and we let it dry for a few day before using it. The bamboos are well placed at the open areas here at the farm and it is ready to used as a fence. This thick and hard kinds of bamboo will be used as a fence post while those thin and long kinds of bamboos will be used to attached at the post to formed it as a fence.
They spend lots of hours before they finished cutting those bamboos, as for them this is one of the great challenge they have but gladly they are safe of doing the work. It was very lucky also because the weather was very calm and good and no intense heat happens this day. Those hired persons will really have a good time doing their job because the weather was very relaxing and calm.
Visiting My Garden Near at the River:
While at the river, I also visited one of our Garden at the place. Gladly my cassava plants are grows very healthy and it will be expected to have lots of crops on it. My string plants are nearly withered and it really needs to placed another young string beans plants. We already harvested many times of the string beans and family meals are solve.
My Father also manually plowed this place using his pick, plowing this area is very easy because the soil contains sands and easy to cultivate. Even of this place can easily reach by flood, still He wants to cultivate and plant lots of crops here.
After that, I continously went to my Papaya plants and I was very surprised because finally it already produced ripe fruits and ready to harvest. This is the first fruit and first harvest I did and I am very proud of it because I already seen the fruitful of success. My Plan for this is to plant lots of papaya that will someday I can sell lots of papaya fruits. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.
