Here in California, some of us celebrate All Saints Day and All Souls Day by attending Mass and praying for deceased family, relatives, friends, and the souls in purgatory. And the entire month of November, Masses are said for the dead. Some people also visit the cemeteries on those days. Then we have Remembrance Day and Memorial Day when the dead, particularly military personnel, are remembered and people visit the cemeteries too.
