Here's another Convenience store that will satisfy your korean food cravings and experience eating like you're in a korean drama having a meal inside a convenience store. As a K-drama fan, exploring new korean stores is so much fun especially that my daughter loves it too except for the spicy food. She's actually more interested with their ice cream, candies and beverages.
Last week, together with my daughter, we have finally visited Fun Mart and ate inside. Just a warning though, because it happened to me, when you're too overwhelmed and just picked up whatever you feel like having without checking the price you'll probably end up surprised when you pay it at the counter. Sure, you can satisfy your cravings but just be prepared to pay a hefty sum. But, it's worth it though since I really love to korean food.
Moving forward, this is why it's called fun mart because you'll be enjoying preparing your own meal. May it be teokbokki or ramen and you can also add your own toppings. My daughter tried their cheese flavour teokbokki while I had a pack of ramen which I added some toppings (additional cost on them) like egg, fishcake or kimchi. There's a friendly crew who can help you prepare them. We also have a pack of watermelon and blueberry juice and paid extra for the cup with ice. Then we had some icecream right after and my daughter bought some candies, cookies and chips for take out.
It was a fun way of bonding with my daughter again, at least we both enjoyed visiting korean stores like this. Great thing that it's also accessible because the location is whithin the City.
Fun Mart is located at Horizons 101, Mango Avenue across Union Bank.
