My family and I had the delightful opportunity to take a leisurely walk behind our friend's house, accompanied by their two charming dogs, Cody and Ruby. Cody, with his short legs and friendly demeanor, quickly won over my wife's heart. Ruby, on the other hand, was a bit more reserved but equally endearing.
Our stroll took us through winding paths that cut across lush rice fields. Along the way, we passed by local kids flying kites against the backdrop of the setting sun, creating a beautiful scene of rural Bali life.
As we ventured deeper into the rice fields, our friend allowed Cody and Ruby to roam freely among the harvested paddies. My son, captivated by Cody's playful energy, couldn't resist joining in as they playfully darted through the golden stalks.
While the dogs explored, my daughter and wife took the opportunity to capture the serene beauty of the surroundings through their camera lenses, occasionally pausing to watch our lively companions.
As the sun started to set, Cody got tired and slowed down a lot. My wife ended up carrying him because he would stop walking whenever we put him down. My son then took over and carried Cody for the rest of our walk back home. We laughed and talked about our day as we enjoyed the beautiful sunset.
