Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. Recently, I visited Lapangan Banteng Park. I'm just writing and editing photos here; it's a pleasant experience. Oh yeah, I also met a cheap coffee vendor on a push bike.
In Jakarta, there are many coffee shops like this. The prices are much cheaper compared to cafes. A cup costs IDR 8,000. The most expensive is no more than IDR 20,000. This is quite affordable for Jakarta. In fact, you could say the taste is quite good, not far from the coffee sold in cafes.
However, I find coffee with milk, caramel, or other flavors a bit off. I don't know why, so sometimes I just buy an iced Americano. Just yesterday, I bought a coffee with palm sugar milk from the Jago brand, Kopi Sepeda.
Jago is one of the newest coffee brands in Indonesia. It's now evolving into this. It's an innovative business. I also asked this vendor if he can sell 100 cups of coffee a day. This is a large amount. Another thing I liked was that the coffee seller was very friendly.
Yesterday, I had difficulty paying because my internet banking was experiencing problems. The coffee seller allowed me to pay the next day, once my app was back up and running. In Jakarta, this is rarely done. It's only done with close friends. But it turns out this seller trusted me.
The seller shared his contact information with me. Once the problem is resolved, I can contact him and send money through other digital apps. This was very easy, and in this digital age, it makes things much easier for me. But one thing I want to say is thank you for being so friendly.
In this case, we just need a high level of mutual trust. The seller didn't think I would run away and not pay. I was amazed by all of that. That's all I can share. What do you think? Have you had a similar experience? See you in the next story.
