How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also well by the grace of God. Today I have come to you with a different kind of post.
Today I will share with you some moments from our fresher's reception. It has been almost three months since I got admitted to the university. We are nearing the end of one semester. Towards the end, the university authority has decided to hold a fresher's reception. In the first class, we had an orientation program, which was organized only by the department. However, this program is organized by all the departments. This fresher's reception was held for all those who were admitted last year. Although we are still new. Since we are still in the first semester. This program was held at the very beginning of the year. The university grounds have been decorated very beautifully. Before going inside, they decorated with such branches on both sides. Here, the word fresher is written very beautifully and the university logo is also designed on both sides. I like these two things very much.
After going inside, I saw that the decoration inside was even more beautiful. The entire area was decorated with colorful cloth. I also liked this decoration a lot. First of all, I went and got the coupon first. We registered online. The coupon was given based on the students' names in that registration list. And without the coupon, you cannot enter or eat inside. I went inside with the coupon. After searching a lot, I found everyone from our department. Each department had separate seats allocated for the entire stage night. The seats of our department were in the middle. This arrangement was made for about two thousand students. The pandal was very big. We went a little early so that we could take pictures with the teachers. After going inside, I took some pictures with all my friends and then I took pictures with the teachers. Then I called a cameraman and took a group photo of all the teachers from our semester. After that, BC Sir, Chairman Sir, everyone appeared and the program officially started.
The most interesting aspect of this program was a well-known guest. Ayman Sadiq was brought as the guest of this program. He is more or less known to everyone in Bangladesh. He started his first journey in online education in Bangladesh. He basically came here as a motivational speaker. He explained everything that needs to be taken care of as a first semester in university life beautifully.
Then there were several performances. I liked the arrangement of the entire program a lot. Usually, listening to everyone's speeches in programs is a little boring. However, here I saw that there were two or three speeches and then one performance. Because of this, listening to the speeches was not that boring. There were many performances. There were several songs, group dances, everything.
There were three Chinese performances in particular. Two were martial arts. Another one was the Lion Dance. I saw the Lion Dance completely new. It is basically one of the dances in Chinese culture. There is a person inside this costume who basically completes the entire dance through the upper part of the costume, that is, the head. There is a collaboration between the Chinese and our university, due to which they were able to arrange these performances here. It was nice to see different cultures. Then we took food coupons and got food. Then we sat on the campus and ate and went home. Although this freshman reception was a little late, it was done very beautifully and we also enjoyed it.
