Dear Friends,
Early in the morning yesterday, we went to the mall to pay our electric bill about 150$. The electric bill has increased since summer. On December to February, it was only 100$, but a single electric fan cannot handle the heat anymore. We don’t have another choice but to turn on the AC for the whole day. Sometimes, my baby and I are just staying to our mother’s room so that there is only one turned on AC. So, we went to the Robinsons Mall. We stayed for a few minutes at the hallway as my niece and my little one chose to sit down there because of the printed rock seats and the green mat.
Later, we ate our lunch at the Tita’s Cafe, one of the oldest restaurants here in Butuan. The parking lot is spacious with a cool temperature as the area is surrounded with trees. It is relaxing to look at their spacious yard.
Good thing that they have seats available for babies. I couldn’t concentrate sitting down on the table while waiting for the order because my baby moves a lot, but the chair helps me that I could relax for a while and can eat properly.
The restaurant offers cheaper prices of their foods. One of their specialties that we like is Lomi. The Lomi that is good for four people can honestly be eaten by 5 or six. It is served in a huge serving bowl.
It was 12 noon and there were lots customers. Of course, they like the place because it has different spaces to choose where we can relax and savor the meal. Aside from the cool breeze, it is also clean with the hospitable employees.
Even if it was already cold, one of their workers put an electric fan .
We just ordered Lomi that is good for four people. It is a food where pancit is the main ingredient. The big bowl of Lomi was enough for us to satisfy our tummy. It has pork liver, beef ground balls, green onion, cabbage and egg.
Tita’s Cafe has its huts outside for those who love an open air space. Since it was our first time there, we didn’t know there was an outdoor amenities, so we were there inside.
Behind is the spacious veranda. We can view the trees and garden outside. We can enjoy the food with a fresh air.
The yard is neat and wide too where kids can play. Sadly, my little one didn’t play when we were there because she was sleepy.
There also a pond and the tiny bridge. My niece enjoyed a refreshing view with a cool climate.
We also enjoyed looking at the monkey caged, but when he saw me taking a picture, he reacted aggressively. He yelled like an anger voice. It was my nephew’s first time to see a monkey in personal. She didn’t like to leave the monkey, but my mother had called us that we needed to come back home because my baby was fussy and sleepy.
How about you? What made you busy yesterday?
