RE: One Veggie at a Time, Straight to the Table: Got the Opportunity to Harvest the First Sprout of Mama's Eggplant

Woah it grew that much in 3 days??? It's amazing haha and the torta looks so good and fresh. I never had one in a long time cos I don't know how to cook it lol.

I think those white ones are mealybugs. I had peppers before and I would see them there. From my research, the ladybugs eat them but I'm not really sure how bad they are for the plant or for us. It's a strong indicator I guess that the plant is healthy and has no pesticides. :D

Yep, haha, it's actually really cool no haha. Guess mom's care in it gave us that amazing result hehe. You should try making one, it only has few ingredients roo

Ohhh, now, I know, thanks for the infor. This is my first time hearing the name and they can go bigger pala, as I see it on a photo in google. Its sad I didn't see them on their bigger side 😭. Yep really healthy but mama didn't see any "thing" inside too. Luckyyyy.

I think it's the part where you have to grill the eggplant that kinda makes me feel it's too much to do hahaha. But I really like the taste because of it.

I used to be so disgusted about worms in my veggies but nowadays when I see one from a lettuce, I know it is better since guaranteed organic. But bigger mealybugs look kinda scary tho hahah

Oh yes, that, the smoky flavor of it right. I sometimes just put the eggplant on top of the pa in-in na sinaing then use it in torta. But sometimes I grill it in the kalan nalang using gasul haha.

Same hereeee, like, if there's a hole, parang, you'll think twice or more whether to eat it or not. I do that with sweet potato leaves that I bought in the market haha. I think I saw one again, but really bigger and weird looking too. This times its in the sweet potato leaves aguy
