The mobile unit was desperately needed. I was starting to get cabin fever. My favorite part about it is that it is high enough above the road that we can throw things at pedestrians while we cruise by in style.
Reminds me of the past when I lived in on top of a two-story international school in a tiny room that was the former site of water tank. It was basically the only third floor structure with its own staircase. Once I bought water balloons and on recess I went to my tower and began raining them down on my K-12 students.
Long story short, the kids loved it and the school director loved it too, made a lot of laughter. It ended when I knocked a boy with polio off the merry-go-round and he cartwheeled off the ride. Little dude loved being treated normal and not pampered, even laughed when he finally collected himself, but a line had been crossed with the upper management and woke culture.
I suppose that is always a danger when you are "playing" with kids. There is always a chance you are going to ragdoll them by accident. I was once watching the kids during recess when I did a stint at an elementary school and once joined a football game (soccer) with the kids. I wasn't running really hard or anything but one time I took a shot from quite far out and I can still see it in slow motion right now when the ball was flying towards the defender and I am thinking "don't hit him in the face, don't hit him in the face" and of course, it hit him in the face. He took it like a champ but I was still reprimanded a bit.
