Last February 2 was the "2nd death Anniversary" of my Father. I'm sorry I just shared it here now, because this past few days, I am so busy from work aside from month end inventory.
We had so much guest to entertain, that I cannot got the chance to wrote. Mostly of our guest are cousins of the owner here.
So anyway this is what happen to my Father's death Anniversary. Early tyat morning we went to church to attend the mass because we offer a mass for my father. And aside also from that, it's a candle blessing or what we called "Candelaria".
After we went to church we go to the market. We bought meat, fish,.and all the ingredients that we need for our cooking that day. And right after that we went home directly so that we can start and prepare so early.
The Novena will start at 10AM and end at exactly 12NN. While it's not yet time we work all together so that we can finished it before 12NN. My sister and brother inlaw helped us to in the preparation and cooking.
And a moment later, the people who lead the Novena came. I light up the candle and they start. I let my sister to joined because I am so busy at the kitchen so that I cannot attend.
Before the novena ended, we are all set and prepared. I just transfer the food that we cooked to the table. I'm sorry I don't have photos from that moment, because people are already coming. I got busy to assist them.
During in the late afternoon. We went to the cemetery to give the flowers and food to my father. Ofcourse we lighted a candle too and prayed. We didn't stay too long because as I have said it's already late. Then we went home.
The things ended at around 8 in the evening. It's so tiring yet we are thankful to God that we prepared it successfully.
