When I look back at My Daughter Morning Belle’s Halloween-themed photoshoot in her six-month monthsary. I can’t help but smile. The photos look cute and simply, but the story behind them is what makes the special. Most of people think I prepare everything for there’s moments, but honestly. behind every picture, her father is always there.

He’s not the type who shows his feelings openly, but he’s the most hands-on person during our shoots. He set up the background, fixes the costume, prepares the props and makes sure Morning Belle is comfortable and happy. Sometimes, a father’s effort is not noticed, but their sacrifices are some of the biggest. They may be quiet, but they do so much out of love.

I often as myself, “why do we really need to take these photoshoots of our daughter?’ The answer is simple, these memories will matter to her one day. When she grows up, she will see how loved, celebrated and cared for she was even as a baby. These photos will tell her a story: that her parents were present, that we showed up. And that we valued every milestone.
And honestly, this is also a part of my inner child healing. Growing up. I didn’t have many captured moments or pictures to looks back on. I didn’t have those visual reminders of happy moments. So now that I’m a mother, I want a different story for my daughter. I’m doing this for her... but also for myself – to heal, to create new memories, and to give what I never had.

This six-month Halloween shoot reminded me that parenting doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs presence. And I’m truly grateful that Morning Belle has a father who may be quiet, but he is always there – supporting, sacrificing and loving our daughter in his own way.

Being a father doesn’t just mean providing food or meeting the basic need of a child. What matters most is the emotional presence, the way a father shows love, support and patience in every small moment. Kids remember how they were made to feel, not what was on the table. A father’s quite effort, steady hands and genuine care build the kind of security and love that lasts a lifetime.
