One aspect of visiting the clinic or hospital that I find particularly unsettling is having my blood drawn. Whether it's for a complete blood count (CBC) or blood chemistry, the sight of needles makes me quite apprehensive. Whenever I need to undergo blood extraction for a blood chemistry test, I make it a point to request a smaller needle. This is because I have a phobia of the standard needle size, which doesn't insert easily due to the peculiar fiber-like nature of my veins.
