Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this week's challenge is all about family fun, where you do it, what you do, where you go, when, why, etc.

👨👩👧👦 Family Fun Time 🛝
👨💻 Week #117 👩💻
July 8th ➡️ July 15th, 2024Sometimes we all just need a little family fun, and whether you leave home or not, there are always some family activities to enjoy if you're creative and have a little free time. Swimming and enjoying a campfire are among some of the things I enjoy doing with my wife and kids, but even if you're single you probably have a surrogate family or married friends that you spend time with, and you are welcome to share family adventures through the eyes of these folks too.

This challenge is a simple one, just show me what you do with your family for fun, especially if it's something cheesy like running along the beach as the family above is doing. I hope to see a lot of participation and know that most you ASEAN Hivers are family folk with kids, so let's enjoy a week of positive vibes family activities.

Week #116 ASEAN Hive Challenge Winners
🌿 Kangkong Cook-Off 👨🍳
🌿 Kangkong Cook-Off 👨🍳
This vegetable is so common throughout Southeast Asia, so I was surprised to see that the challenge wasn't a big hit like the photography challenges often are. Either way I saw some very different preparations that aren't done here in Cambodia. Here it's always garlic, oyster sauce and chilies or no chilies, only two to three ingredients. I thank the participants for sharing their chefery with us and encourage you all to explore these dishes.

Yesterday our new neighbor gave us plenty of Kangkong leaves freshly harvested from her garden at the back of her house, this was because last week when I went to the mall, I just walked and passed by our neighbor's house, timing she was outside. We chat for a while and I spotted she have a healthy kangkong garden, so, I ask her if I can buy some someday. She told me she will just give it to me no charge. Wow, a kind neighbor.

The time I saw the post about the kangkong Cook Off, I told myself to join but how? Long tine ago, the garden was full of jangling but now no more. It made all the #ofw happier with matching malunggay in my garden with lemon grass. It was ended last 2017 when they decided changing the soil of the garden. They removed all my plants anf I didn't plant jangling ang moringga again. It affected the health of the flowers nearby.
3rd Prize 🥉 4% Beneficiary & 75 Ecency Points
Unfortunately there were only two entries for this challenge, but fortunately for the winners, this means that the 3rd Prize rewards will be distributed equally among the 1st and 2nd Prize winners.
