Matcha Venture has been the talk of the town for the past few years. Back when I was still work for the clothing factory at Bkk, this place was the ultimate hangout spot for all the cool kids. They would come here after classes, or on the weekends, to get their fix of matcha-infused treats and chill out in the cozy indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Now it becomes my favorite place now I got recommended by one of my friends who is addicted to matcha. Those were the days! Me and my friends would spend hours here, just sipping on our matcha lattes and munching on matcha cookies, talking about the latest trends and health talk. The place had such a relaxed, trendy vibe - it was the perfect escape from the stresses of daily working life.
Welcome to Matcha Venture
One of my favorite things about Matcha Venture was how unique and specialized their menu was. Unlike a regular cafe that might have a matcha item or two, this place was solely dedicated to all things matcha. You name it, they had it - matcha ice cream, matcha milkshakes, matcha cupcakes, matcha brownies, matcha waffles, matcha macarons, matcha everything!
The matcha ice cream was probably the most popular item. It was just the perfect balance of creamy and earthy, with that classic strong green color that matcha is known for. My friends and I would always fight over who got the last scoop. The matcha milk tea was another crowd pleaser - so rich and aromatic, it was like drinking liquid velvet. And the matcha frappes were a lifesaver on those hot, humid days.
What I loved most though, was the attention to detail that Matcha Venture put into everything. You could tell they really knew their stuff when it came to matcha. All their ingredients were top-notch, and you could taste the quality in every bite or sip. Plus, the presentation of the drinks and desserts was always so Instagram-worthy.
The cafe itself was just as aesthetically pleasing. The owners had really nailed the cozy, minimalist for me I think it was similar to Taiwan vibe they were going for. Inside, the decor was all earthy tones and natural wood, with big comfy chairs and little potted plants and leaves.
Bakery Spot
But the real stars of the show, in my opinion, are the bakery items. I could spend hours perusing the glass display cases, admiring the meticulously crafted pastries and breads. The houjicha brownies, for instance, are an absolute revelation. The perfect balance of toasted. caramelized notes from the houjicha and the rich, fudgy chocolate is simply the very best. And the waffles as well, looking so good for an ice cream combo.
And let's not forget the croissants. Oh, the croissants! The butter croissants are the stuff of my desire, with their impossibly crispy layers and that really buttery flavor. But the almond croissants? Those are my personal favorites. The toasted, crunchy exterior gives way to a soft, pillowy interior, with a generous filling of sweet, nutty almond paste. It's like taking a bite of the softest thing on earth.
Rating
My order has arrived, I got a couple of brownies, and my matcha frappe (cold blended), I also got a whipped cream on the top. The combination is delicious, absolutely 10/10.
At the end, I have to say that their matcha offerings are truly something unique every week, their menu is always change both for an ingredient but the basic is still the same, in Bkk this place would be always the best choice when I miss matcha . They use only the finest, most premium grade matcha powder, which they source directly from a specific brand. The result is a rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced matcha latte that's simply divine. I often see myself coming back just for their matcha drinks, savoring every sip and marveling at the depth of flavor.
