Most of us, Gardening is already part of ourlives and this is also a good kind of activities in order for us to become more productive in everyday living. I have a simple garden here in our place, and this is one of my Hobbies in Life. Aside of that, by Gardening we can do some great techniques on how we can take care of our vegetables very well and what are the ways of doing in our Garden. First, allow me to share this simple Garden plots I've created last day. I collected lots of empty plastic bottles of Softdrinks and I recycled it by placing each one of it and formed into a rectangular shape to make it a Garden plot. It helps the soil of not flashing away by water everytime when there is a heavy rain happens and aside of that, I can make recycling. The next thing I did is to filled it up with organic Soil. Loam soil is the best soil to plant vegetables because it is very fertile.

My Garden is surrounded with this black nets, it helps the place to keep from any harmful animals like chickens. This nets are also served as a simple fence for my vegetables and I attached it in the Malunggay Trunk and secured with Cables by tying it. As I observed, this net fence is very effective and as I checked my vegetables I did not seen any damage caused by any animals like chickens and Goats, in fact we have lots of chickens and Farm goats here.

To keep my young plants safe from intense heat from the Sun, we also make this knotted coconut leaves, here in our place we called it "Sulirap". It is used as rooftop on houses, waitingsheds aside of that it is also good to used as chicken nest. I've created this to sheltered my young plants away from intense heat so it wont be damage its young leaves. I've learned this from my Grandma and it helps a lot specially to my Plants here at the Garden.

Some of the vegetables I planted here at the Garden is this chilli pepper plants. Take caring of this kind of plants is very easy but it is still needs to taken care and checked the leaves to see if there are appids or any small harmful insects living on it. I decided to plant lots of it because it is highly demand here at the Market and it costs hundreds per kilo.

What Are My Great Experience about Planting Chilli Pepper?

The first time I planted chilli pepper was not quitely easy for me because I did not know that it needs to plant first at the seed tray before planting it to the ground. Some of my young chilli plant died because of intense heat and I forgot to put any sheltered materials to keep it cool always. Next, I did not realized that lots of harmful insects like Ants can still lived at the leaves. The few chilli plants left are having trouble because of the harmful insects like ants, so I decided to sprayed it with water and soap so the insects can keep away and it was effective.

Next is the muringga plants. I also planted 20 Cutted branches of Muringga plants and gladly all of it are already stabled and produced young leaves. By planting vegetables, it needs to cultivate everyday so the water can easily absorbed directly to the roots. Shaking the branches of the Muringga trees can help to removed the dry leaves leaving a cool and relaxing green leaves views. I also planned to collect and recycled Empty TV box and make it as a pots for my Lemon-grass.

I also applied Ash as a simple fertilizer for my Alugbati plants. As I checked it, my Alugbati plants grows very healthy and Keep expanding. Cultivating the soil near at the plants is very important and must be watered three times a day.

My Camote leaves also grows very healthy. This kind of vegetables can be stabled within a week and it can survived in intense heat. My next plan for this is to make fermented banana stems and watered it to my vegetables. This can help as a fertilizers and gives lots of nutrients to my Plants. Until next post, have a nice day to everyone.

Sort:

It is a good idea to make knotted coconut leaves especially to protect the seedlings before they are transplanted. I usually put the seedlings next to the house which has a roof but still gets enough sunlight. Oh, a few days ago, I also posted about growing chili on my Youtube. You can choose the language option :)
