I just discovered something amazing, as i've mentioned before, we don't really eat Alugbati, or Malabar spinach according to google. So I have no knowledge about it and even though I know that it has a lot of health benefits, I never try eating it. Growing up, I only eat Sweet Potato Leaves, I rarely eat Kangkong too because the oldies doesn't like that. I eat that sometimes when Mama cooked it, I love Adobong Kangkong, especially if it's a little sour.
Anyways, I don't know much about Alugbati, so when I saw a whole bunch of it near my former school, I was in awe because it's flowers and even the fruits are really beautiful. And seriously though, the color of Alugbati is truly captivating. I find everything about it so pretty, it's pleasing to the eyes, it's color.

I don't remember seeing this in every place I visit. I know, this is the first time I saw it. But i'm not sure too if it's really the first, maybe I already saw it somewhere and I just didn't pay much attention to it. If ever this is the case, I'll hate myself for not noticing such beautiful plants. Look at it's pinkish and white flowers, isn't it so pretty? They are just so tiny though - it's hard to take a closer shot because it gets so blurry.

And look at that dark purple fruits. According to Mama it's fruits are used as a dye too. Isn't it amazing? All of Alugbati is just so useful. Looking at that dark fruits, I can tell that it can be really a good dye for clothes,, ans how about the hair? Have anyone here actually tried Malbar Spinach fruit as a dye? I'm really curious.

I shared here before about the Alugbati growing in the yard near the guava tree, but sadly, the old woman downstairs cut it. So I didn't had the chance to see it grow and bloom and transform into a beautiful decorations vines in our yard. I can imagine it, the bright color of it that could gives life to our backyard. Really saduuuu (╥﹏╥)

Let me also share my other finds while having a walk near my former school, look... Here's a cute Sitaw or a Green Bean or String Beans. It's still young though. I want to suggest to Mama to pick some of this too to plant in the yard, but I remember, her and Mommy F's already experiencing leg and joint pain, so this would be bad for them ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌. Sitaw is also good though, I love adobong sitaw with pork. Been a long time since I last had it (〒﹏〒).

And here's another one, seeing our neighbor's Avocado made me crave for some. And, it's not our fault if the tree crawl closer to our land, picking some would be easy ಥ‿ಥ. But, unfortunately, I am too shy to even pick one of that, haha. But seriously though, i'm so jealous because they have Avocado tree. And look how much fruits it has. Ahhhh, i'm really jealous. Wish they can just give some of it to us, heh ಠ◡ಠ.
