So, we have a new plants growing in our yard, I said NEW because Mama thought it is a different plant but as I see it, it is just a squash. But then she said it is not a squash because of the flowers. I disagreed because as I see it, it is really a squash. Neither of us accept defeat so we had a healthy argument just because of it. Lol. I find it funny though but at the same time i'm already getting annoyed, hahaha. I think we had the same argument before, because of squash, haha. Its hard to really distinguish squash from other gourd plants because it looks different but at the same time it is just right. So anyway, to end the discussion, I decided to look at it on google using google lens.

And here's the reason of the argument, the "squash" as I guess it. But for Mama it is just a weed. But surely it is not, what's your guess guys?

Here's the leaves and the vines. No matter how much I look at it, it's really a squash no?

Wait, i'm realizing something right now. The flowers. It's kinda different from squash. Oh gosh, I think i'm the wrong one here. ⊙.☉
Let me check my gallery a bit...
And seriously, what are you?
But kidding aside, after searching via google lens, this is the result it gave to me.
The image shows the yellow flower of a plant in the family Cucurbitaceae, which includes gourds, squashes, and cucumbers. Based on the appearance, it is likely a flower from a luffa plant, also known as sponge gourd or loofah. Meaning, it is a Patola. [Src]
So I share this info to my Mama but she still won't believe me. Haha. She knows the leaves and flowers of Patola and this ones different. But well, whatever, this is a Patola for me. The end. Lol

Let's talk about something else now. It's about the Makabuhay plant we have. From a small seedlings, its now has more leaves in it. And they are growing really fast, thanks to the rain, I think. When I share this the other week, there's just one of them, now we have a lot. Mama's really determined to let it grow in there m, she also said it's like a pangontra or something sa aswang. Seriously (≧▽≦)

By the way, here's the two curious cats while i'm looking around the garden. They are always curious, seriously.

Let me also share this old tomatoes here that is not bearing any fruit yet, just flowers. Maybe the problem is really the soil where it is planted. We have a lot if this surrounding the other side of our yard but most of them just bloom flowers but no fruits. Still, we're optimistic that they will also bear some fruits soon. We just have to wait.
