Man, I loved that game and spent so many wonderful hours playing it! Of course I was too broke to own a console so I was playing a bootleg copy for the PC. With no RT 3D graphics the game was running very well even on old PCs

        I don't even think it was available on a console other than the Game Boy Color release. The PC version was originally released in 1996 and only required a 486DX2-66. Turns out there is also a recent fan remake: https://www.timeextension.com/features/how-fans-are-resurrecting-heroes-of-might-and-magic-ii
