I can understand that. Honestly, my favorite games are the ones where I can start from zero, with nothing, then build and grow over time. Those to me are the most fun, and also satisfying and motivating. π π π β¨ π€

The requirement of $10 to join #Splinterlands might be a deterrent for you to start playing the game if you decide to do so, and you will still have no Cards to use except "Starter Cards" (those Cards that are playable but you do not own yet, and will reduce the SPS you earn from every battle that you win) and the Cards that you won from giveaways here on Hive. π€π€―π€

I just haven't felt inspired to invest in Splinterlands yet, especially with their recent discussion about the possibility of moving to another blockchain. I have about 19 cards that I've won from contests and drawings. π π π β¨ π€

I wonder if an owner of a Hive account that has cards on #Splinterlands but hasn't paid the $10 registration fee yet can either transfer their Cards to other Hive accounts or sell (or rent out) their cards on any Splinterlands market (such as PeakMonsters). π€ I can't test it because I don't have any Card to test with. π€―π

Yes, one would hope. They see how much development, and how many benefits, exist on some other chains, and also how many more people.

Maybe those other blockchains may be more suitable for gaming but less suitable for blogging, so that any Hive community where #Splinterlands players are active (such as #Splintertalk) would simply continue blogging about the game on Hive. π€
