Greetings, fellow gamer humans, how's it going...
It's been a while since I last wrote about this project, but I've been a bit busy. However, I'm getting back to work on my projects here on Hive, and this game is one of them.
In case you don't know what I'm talking about, this is a game from our friends at @arcadecolony, which could be the Mario Kart of Hive or even of Web3 as long as it gets more support and promotion, because honestly, I think it has a lot of potential.
To be honest, the game hasn't changed much since the last time I played, but I'm still accumulating fuel and I think I’ve become self sufficient. One thing I have noticed is that the vehicle seems to handle better in turns.
That’s why I’ve brought a few ideas here that could work or at least serve as a base to improve our beloved Moon Karts. That said, let’s begin:
🔵WAIT TIME
When I play ranked matches, I've had to wait more than 3 minutes to find an opponent — and that's the average. I don't know how many players are currently active, but I feel like the best time to find matches is in the mornings (Colombian time).
They could implement bots so that at least new players can get some matches in and adapt to the competitive mode while the project gets more exposure.
🔵THE POOLS
Currently, the game has two pools associated with ranked play, and based on our staked NFTs and tokens, we receive rewards according to our league position in Colony tokens.
Here's my current position as of today, at the end of the season:

As for improvements, I would create another reward system that doesn't rely on pools it’s great for top ranked players, but new users have little to no chance of competing in ranked matches, and that discourages investment.
On the other hand, they could create a new free league where anyone can play, and player skill and time invested are what truly matter. Obviously, the vehicles would need to be more balanced because some of them feel pay to win.
🔵THE MARKET
To be honest, the marketplace doesn’t have much activity. I don't know if it's because of the price of the NFTs or because there’s only one way to buy them.
It would be ideal if we could use Hive tokens to purchase, or even SPS, and give those tokens more utility since I believe they come from the same ecosystem. I’m not saying that’s the solution, but it could be another option.

Overall, it's a good game it’s fun and has potential. But maybe if the economy becomes more circular and fair, it could attract new users and investors.

Hacia un buen rato no escribía sobre este proyecto pero he estado un poco ocupado , pero estoy retomando los proyectos aquí en hive y este juego es uno de ellos.
Por si no sabes de que te hablo, este es un juego de los amigos de @arcadecolony el cual podría ser el Mario Kart de hive o de Web3 siempre y cuando le den mas soporte y promoción al proyecto, porque amigos para mi tiene mucho potencial.
Siendo sincero no ha cambiado mucho el juego desde la ultima vez que entre, pero continuo acumulando fuel y creo que ahora soy autosustentable. Algo que si he notado es que el vehículo siento que gira mejor en las curvas.
Es por eso que aquí he traído algunas ideas que podrían funcionar o podrían ser la base para mejorar el querido Moon Karts. Dicho esto comencemos:
TIEMPO DE ESPERA
Cuando jugamos en ranked me ha tocado esperar mas de 3 minutos para encontrar un contrincante y eso no tan bueno (ese es el promedio ). No se que tantos jugadores haya actualmente en juego pero siento que las horas donde se puede encontrar partidas es en la mañanas hora Colombia.
Podrían implementar bots para que al menos las personas nuevas puedan jugar y puedan adaptarse al juego en el modo competitivo y todo lo que conlleva mientras se da a conocer mas el proyecto.
LAS POOLS.
Actualmente en el juego hay 2 pool las cuales están asociadas con las rankeds y en base a nuestros nft en stake como su token nos darán las recompensas según nuestra posición en las ligas en el token colony.
Acá te comparto mi posición actual al día de hoy que termino la temporada:
Y esto seria mis activos en stake para que te des un estimado de las ganancias.
En cuanto a que se podría mejorar yo crearía otro sistema de recompensas que no se basara en pool ya que es genial para los que están en primeras posiciones, pero los usuarios nuevos no tienen ninguna probabilidad de pelear las rankeds y eso desmotiva a que no inviertan.
Por otro lado se podría crear una nueva liga free donde pueda jugar cualquier persona y aquí se valore la habilidad del jugador como también su tiempo dedicado al proyecto. Lógicamente los vehículos deberían ser mas equilibrados porque hay algunos que parecen pay to win.
EL MERCADO
Este siendo honesto no es que tenga mucha actividad, no se si sea por el costo de los nfts o porque solo hay una forma de comprarlo.
Seria ideal podemos usar el token hive para comprar o el mismo sps y darle mas uso ya que creo que son de la misma compañía. Aclaro que esta no se si sea la solución pero podría ser otra opción.
En general es un buen juego, es divertido tiene potencial ;pero quizás si se hace una mejor economía, mas circular y equitativa pueda atraer a nuevo publico e inversores.
Aclaro que este post es con mucho respeto y deseando lo mejor para el proyecto porque en verdad me gusta.
