Greetings, human gamers, how’s it going?
Today I want to talk to you about a game I’ve wanted to try for a long time called CAT QUEST 2. I’ve been wanting to try this game ever since I had my Nintendo Switch, but for more important reasons, I had to sell it a few years ago and never got the chance.
Now that I have a mid range PC, I decided to give this title a shot, and I’ve loved everything it offers us players, including its mechanics.
Even though the game has a very friendly art style, it’s actually a challenge with a complex progression system.
The story, in a nutshell, is that in this world, cats and dogs exist, and they want to forge a sword that’s scattered in pieces across the world. Our mission is to find it.
🐱CHARACTERS
So, we have these two little cats, both with equal stats, although I associate one with a mage and the other with a warrior. As we explore the map, we’ll find caves and dungeons where we’ll get weapons, gear, and spells that we can level up.
In their base form, they only attack either with melee or magic, and the other ability is a kind of roll to dodge attacks.
Right now, mine are at level 31, although I’ve come across level 99 caves, which I obviously won’t go near since they can one-shot you haha.
🐱CUSTOMIZATION
If we go in depth, you can equip your characters with masks and hats. You can also give them armor and a heavy or light weapon, each offering advantages or disadvantages in combat.
The cool thing is that whatever item you equip your characters with, their visual appearance changes instantly.
There are also spells you can equip, although they’re a bit hard to find throughout the world.
MAPS
This part is very special since the maps are large. I don’t know how long the game is, but I still have a lot left to do, like some golden chests that require a golden key, which I have no clue how to get.
There are also hidden caves and paths that require certain conditions. Plus, something I really like is that you can also fight on the overworld map, not just inside caves so you always have to stay alert not to die.
If one character dies in battle, you can revive them just by getting close.
Honestly, Cat Quest 2 is a gem of a game super fun and addicting. It makes you want to keep leveling up, finding better weapons, and discovering new areas. I totally recommend it with my eyes closed. That said, it’s a hard game, so don’t underestimate it.

Hoy vengo a hablarles de un juego que hace mucho quería probar llamado CAT QUEST 2; este juego lo quería probar desde que tenia mi nintendo switch pero por razones de peso mayor me toco venderla hace algunos años y no lo pude hacer.
Hoy en día ya que tengo un pc digamos que intermedio, decidí probar este titulo y me ha encantado por todo lo que trae para nosotros los jugadores como también sus mecánicas.
Aunque vea el juego con una arte muy amigable el juego es un desafió con un sistema de progresión complejo.
Su historia en pocas palabras es que en este mundo existe los perros y los gatos y quieren hacer con una espada que esta en partes por todo el mundo y nuestra misión es encontrarla.
PERSONAJES
Bueno tenemos estos 2 gaticos cada uno igual en sus stats, solo que yo los asocio con un mago y un guerrero, a la largo del mapa encontraremos cuevas y mazmorras donde iremos obteniendo armas, equipo y magias que podremos subir de nivel.
En su etapa base solo atacan sea con cuerpo a cuerpo o magia y en la otra parte hace una especie de rodada con la que esquivan ataques.
Actualmente los tengo en nivel 32, aunque me he encontrado cuevas de nivel 99 que lógicamente no iré para aya ya que matan de un solo golpe jeje.
PERSONALIZACION.
Si vamos a fondo podemos colocarle tanto mascaras,gorros a nuestro personaje; también le podemos poner armadura y un arma pesada o ligera que nos dará ciertas ventajas o desventajas en combate.
Lo bueno es que sea el objeto que le equipos a nuestros personajes, inmediatamente le cambiara la parte visual de ellos.
También hay una especie de magias que podremos equipar, aunque soy difíciles de encontrar por el mundo.
MAPAS
Bueno esta parte es muy especial ya que son grandes, no se que tan largo sea el juego pero me faltan varias cosas por hacer, como unos cofres doradas que necesitan una llave dorada que ni idea como se consigue.
También hay algunas cuevas ocultas y caminos que requieren cierta condición, ademas algo que me gusta es que también podemos pelear en el mapa ademas de la cueva con lo que debemos estar siempre alerta para no morir; aunque en esta parte si muere un personaje podremos revivirlo solo hacercandonos a él.
La verdad Cat Quest 2 es un joya de juego, muy divertido y te genera un vicio por querer seguir subiendo de nivel, consiguiendo mejores armas o encontrar nuevos lugares, así que te lo recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, eso si es difícil así que no lo subestimes. Mas adelante te traeré una parte 2 donde estemos ya por los lados finales del juego.
