And she's actually pretty decent at it lol.
Are we bad parents yet?! ๐
I can't even recall how it started. I was originally playing GTA IV -- I actually made some posts about it on here
(I was the one who found the secret ๐)
-- when our 3-year-old began to cuddle up beside me and started watching me play. She had never used the Switch before, she had no experience playing video games, but of course, that still didn't keep her from asking, "Can I play?..."
At first, I agreed, humorously... Sure! I'll let you play long enough for you to get frustrated with it ๐. And she did... And at that point, a child will make one of two choices: they will either never try it again, or they will commit to it.
Kiva committed to it.
She got frustrated -- and scared! ๐ Anytime the cops came around, she would immediately scream and drop the controller! But husband and I patiently taught her how to play, what to do, and now she is a natural~ She plays GTA like it's nobody's business!
Now, granted, she IS 3-years-old, so obviously all of the mechanics are not quite there yet. She's a fantastic driver, but doesn't know how to drift. She can aim a gun, but my God can she miss! ๐ She does not do missions, but she loves to drive everywhere. Her favorite things are driving to the beach to throw grenades at the beachgoers (which she needs help reaching), the mall, the club, and getting away from the police.
She has also impressed me, AND my husband, multiple times -- she has managed to find a ton of stuff we didn't even know existed in the game. She found the RC car beach race by herself, the demolition derby, a katana in a backyard -- a whole bunch of stuff!! ๐ฑ
