Deep down, I thought singing was my thing till the moment I opened my mouth to bring those words in such a form that would bring melodies to the ears of others. Then I realized how horrible I sounded.
I was waiting for that precious moment when I would be able to be a part of the Vibes community and express myself in words. I never thought there would be such a moment, but then I was wrong, and that moment finally came. It's amazing how people who can't sing "myself included" can be a part of the vibes community to share our thoughts and the performance of those who do it better.
In my writing review on the #vibes music competition week 29, firstly, I'm gonna say that all the performances have been amazing so far. I never expected less from any of the entries, but then, as a person, I'm gonna talk about the particular entry that has grabbed my attention and the one that made my heart skip while listening to it.
It is @ellacentric. While listening to her performance, I could see her demonstrating every word as they proceeded out of her mouth. She took the song like it was hers. Her facial expression alone did a thing to me.
When You Believe by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey is one song I love; the lyrics to the song are incredible and heartwarming; it contains words of encouragement that have the power to brighten your mood when you are at the perk of life.
@ellacentric brought back memories of when I was glued to the song finding myself in the world. Her performance was amazing, and I'm glad for the choice of song she picked. Her angelic voice brought everything to life.

I want to specially appreciate @lordbutterfly for making it possible for people to showcase their singing talent, and his curator @verbal-d.
This initiative has helped many find their voice in the world of music.
And enabling writers like myself to be a part of it, is such a great opportunity that won't be taken for granted.
Thanks for reading 🧡
