You have already explained in great detail all the arguments in favour of and against each of these two options. I would like to give you my own personal opinion on the subject. After moving 16 times within Europe, you automatically start to ask yourself if it really has to be the physically tangible book? Especially when the books and shelving units are almost entirely in need of a removal van. It's not surprising, then, that I have had my own e-reader for years. Which doesn't necessarily mean that I don't buy books in print any more.
Professionally I have decided to offer my thoughts in one way and the other way.
