(not) sorry to say so but when do they stop with this mask wearing. I can't help but feel that it makes people less comfortable ( and that is an understatement ).

Hear hear about the mask wearing. I was dreaded to realize that when I had to see the doc (and later hospital) it meant wearing that stupid thing. Recently I heard that they even went as far as let women give birth with these things and make a true fuzz when they couldn't manage anymore.
I personally can't manage to take a sprint with that shit on my mouth, heck even a steady walk will make me want to pull it off immediately.
Even though it was a private hospital, it was overcrowded (even more so when I could go finally) and I went outside every 15 minutes or so to grab some air, I cannot stay inside that long without getting in trouble.
I remember feeling lack of oxygen quite often when we had to wear them everywhere in Budapest at the time of pandemic. I did not see it coming that it would be reintroduced but let's hope it stays in hospitals only.. But better, remove it in total..
So far the blood pressure has been under control but I'm still having loads of arm pain and that's a bit scary still. I hope it will fade though, so that I won't feel uncomfortable until seeing the cardiologist next week.

Let the doctors wear that stuff, not the patients.
I never felt comfortable with them and wore them as little as possible. It felt wrong from the start.
I have always felt that breathing is living ( having been born prematurely ( 6 to 7 weeks early ) as one of a twin, with 'underdeveloped' lungs, whatever that means and having gone through all kinds of lung disorders and dis eases since being a baby have made me extra aware of that.
My lungs are now stronger than the average pair of lungs but they sure are sensitive and they need air.
Hope you manage to find a way to feel better soon and a way to get rid of ( heavy ) medication, soonish.
Have you ever looked into mind-body work? I realize it's easier said than done ( It's a long process ) but knowing that a lot of so called 'chronic illnesses' might indeed be curable sure is relieving.

Insanity indeed! Looking back on my own experiences I would have probably died on the spot lol. I'm making a joke out of it now but it's just not funny at all, is it?
I was just walking with my daughter and thought I let's make an appointment for you at the public clinic as I still have to do it for something that's not urgent, and then I realized I can't even enter without a stupid mask.. didn't have one with me..
You should then know better than anyone how important breathing is. My boyfriend was interested in the Wim Hof technique quite some time ago already, I always laughed at him for breathing so weird but it helps. Now I feel like I'm the stupid one because last week I tried doing that once (with his app open) and I saw on my smartwatch that I constantly had 100% oxygen in my blood.
Regular meds are surely not something I prefer, heck, they prescribed me tramadol (with something else) for months for my back issues. It was good to have it at first but after some time I halved my intake as I thought I could manage (it was the case) until after some time I had the feeling that my back started to hurt because it was time for my next pill. I stopped taking them completely a week ago, guess what? It's very manageable without it.
I will download the app for sure as I'm very on top of what I eat, how much I move and my blood pressure at the moment. I'm trying to see triggers etc, taking into account that I should skip these coffees (only one today, lol) and in the weekend, I can add more walking when the treadmill arrives. Until then, I'm pushing myself to go on mandatory walks twice a day.
I've been wearing a smartwatch for quite some time, hence the knowledge that my oxygen levels drop when I feel bad.. The thing that I definitely wish to incorporate is breathing exercises but I feel so stupid doing them (just being honest). Anyway, thanks for the tip, I really appreciate it :)

I believe I discovered it, about half a year ago, researching ( so called ) 'chronic pain', after having read a book called "Healing Back Pain".
Honestly, I know very well that part (if not all ) of the issues I'm facing over the years are related to trauma, I know it because I've also experienced several times in my life that when I felt happy, I didn't even need to do any effort to loose weight, just an example. So even decades ago, it was crystal clear to me that stress/trauma builds up and blocks things.
I've been doing much better with my back since I quit the tramadol a week ago, I was not aiming to take pills for the blood pressure forever either, instead I'm focussed on a healthier diet and exercising more. My boyfriend also had a period of blood pressure meds and he was also able to tamper them off by himself, I hope I can say the same later this year :) the sooner the better!
I'm constantly monitoring what I do and what effect it has and writing down symptoms so I have a clear image and stuff to compare ..
