It is an important historical day since it marks the-day Britain left India in the year 1947. The struggle for independence was a united cause of the people from all over the India without bias to religion or culture.
As such, it is a day that reminds us of the heroes who sacrificed their lives to bring into force democracy and uphold the unity within the society. Want with pride, respect and sense of belonging and togetherness let all of us celebrate this day which is all about our diverse cultural backgrounds.
